As an Accredited Professional with the International Enneagram Association, I am one of the most extensively trained Enneagram Practitioners in the field, combining multiple Enneagram Certifications with many years of counseling experience and education to bring you an in-depth approach to Enneagram Coaching.
Before I was introduced to the Enneagram, I considered myself to be very self aware. Personal growth was high on my priority list, and I had worked hard on self knowledge since my early 20s, through lots of different modalities. When a family member shared the benefits of the Enneagram with me, and encouraged me to learn about it, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. But, I agreed to read a book they suggested, The Wisdom of the Enneagram by Riso and Hudson, and when I turned to the chapter about my Type, I experienced a sensation that can only be explained as a paradigm shift! For the first time, I was able to accurately see the patterns of my personality and my overall rationale for the way I had conducted my life with astounding clarity. On the one hand this was a painful realization, yet on the other, I felt deeply understood. I learned that I am a Type 1, the Reformer, and suddenly, so much in my life made sense. The Enneagram helped me to understand myself in new ways…I learned that Type 1s can live with deep integrity and reason, but can also be hindered by perfectionism, harsh judgments and resentment. I was instantly captivated by this amazing tool for growth, and began my deep and intense dive into all things Enneagram, leading to insights into myself and others that have had a profound impact. It’s an honor and privilege for me to walk beside my clients as they learn and navigate their own new territory, discovering their spectacular gifts as well as the shadowy obstacles that stand in their way, leading to greatly improved relationships with self and others.
